A new shed on your farm. Yours to use.*

You provide the ground. ARVE funds, builds, owns and maintains the shell: a steel shed with a solar roof and lighting, and a battery in a separate enclosure beside it. You get the covered floor and fund any extras.

What you payNo build cost*for the shed shell

ARVE funds, builds and owns the shed. You pay a one-off Site Establishment Fee and your site works.

How it works

Four steps to a working shed.

  1. Site analysis and shed specifications

We assess your site and agree the shed size (200 m², 500 m² or custom) and any extras.

  2. Agreement, fee and lender consent

You sign the site agreement and pay the Site Establishment Fee. If the farm is mortgaged, your lender consents.

  3. Development application and connection approval

We lodge the development application with council and apply for the grid connection.

  4. Build, connect and operate

We build, connect and commission the shed, then operate and maintain the solar roof and battery.

We own the roof. You use the floor.

Questions.

What does it cost me?

There is no build cost for the shed.* ARVE funds, builds and owns the shed. You pay a one-off Site Establishment Fee and your site works, plus any extras, such as extra cladding, a slab or a cool room.

What is the Site Establishment Fee?

It is a fee for ARVE’s site services: site assessment, design, the development application, the connection application and reserving your unit. It is sized to your shed, quoted including GST, and becomes ARVE’s money when paid. If development consent is refused, ARVE credits the unused part of the fee in fixed stages.

Who owns the shed and the panels?

You keep the land and the floor. ARVE takes a registered lease of the roof, walls and equipment enclosure, and owns and runs the solar and battery.

Do you install batteries too?

Yes. ARVE deploys a battery energy storage system (BESS) with its sheds and carports, in a separate enclosure beside the shed.

What sizes do you build?

200 m² and 500 m² as standard, or a custom size to suit your site.

Where are you building?

New South Wales first. Farmers in other states can register now and we will contact you as we expand.

What if I sell the farm?

ARVE registers a lease on the title, so it binds a buyer. If the farm is mortgaged, your lender must consent.

* Offer terms. ARVE does not give, sell or transfer the shed, solar canopy or battery to you. You keep the land and the floor. ARVE takes a registered lease of the roof, walls and equipment enclosure, and owns and runs the solar and battery. “No build cost” refers only to the shed shell: the steel frame and roof structure, solar canopy, lighting, battery (BESS) and standard installation. It does not include extras, site works or anything outside the shell, which are funded by the customer and quoted separately. Every offer is subject to ARVE’s site assessment and eligibility criteria, a signed site agreement, payment of a Site Establishment Fee sized to the shed, and development and grid connection approvals. Not every farm or site will qualify, and ARVE may decline any site at its discretion. Shed sizes, specifications, costs and timing shown on this site are indicative and are confirmed only in the site agreement. The offer is currently limited to selected sites in New South Wales and may be changed or withdrawn at any time. The Site Establishment Fee pays for ARVE’s site services. It becomes ARVE’s money when paid. It is not a deposit and is not held on trust. If development consent is refused, ARVE credits the unused part of the fee in fixed stages. ARVE sheds are energy and farm infrastructure. They are not dwellings and are not built for use in conjunction with a dwelling. No residential or habitable use. Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance; the terms that apply to you are those in your site agreement.
